Then in 2005-2006, David Comper settled in and won the Division Four league title with the reserves side playing his favoured left wing position scoring 8 goals and assisting another 6. David was also the first Reserves player to score in the 2005-2006 season, with his strike against Bracknell Blades.
David Comper smashed his 100th game for the club in his 6th season, reaching 127 league appearances by the end of his 2006-2007 season. Playing through some minor injuries, Comper managed to add another 9 assists and three further goals to his record.
