Friendly vs Manor - Result: Won 5-2
Bracknell Manics
faced the longstanding, premiership side, The Old Manor FC this
weekend, resulting in a fantastic pre-season win. The Manics
suffered various losses yet again in this week's game, but the
players that filled in almost certainly did the job for the Manics.
The Manics went a goal down in the first half through some sloppy
keeping from poor old stand-in keeper David Fenton, but right
near the end, the Manics equalised. Then reinforcements arrived
for the second half. The Manics took control in the second half,
and turned the game round on the Manor to win 5-2 with goals
from Robertson (2), Curran (2), and Evans (1).
Fitness,
determination and the will to win showed in this game.
The Manics Man of the Match went to newcomer Simon Blay.
