Friendly vs Clarence Rovers - Result: Won 3-1
Bracknell Manics
had no league game this week, but it didn't stop the team from
playing. Instead, BMFC travelled to Ancell Park in Fleet to play
Clarence Rovers FC in a Friendly. Despite short on players, Bracknell
Manics did well to go ahead in the first half through Mark Robertson.
Then, just before the break, Robertson got his second goal.
Tony Hemley was on form in this game, winning balls in the midfield
and working well alongside Evans in the heart of the pitch. Clarence
Rovers pushed on despite two goals down, and earnt themselves
some fine chances on goal, but the Rovers strikers struggled
to get their shots on target and James Robinson made some fine
saves to keep the Manics ahead at half time.
In the Second half, Clarence continued to push, and got a deserved
goal after 15 minutes of play. The remainder of the game was
well fought, and when reinforcements arrived in the form of Elliott
Fairs, it wasn't long before the Manics sealed the victory when
Robertson was brought down outside the box. Glenn Evans took
the free kick and picked out Robertson's head to earn his hatrick
for the day. The final score was 3-1 to the Manics.
Well done
to the Manics again on another good result.
The Manics Man of the Match went to Tony Hemley.
