For yet another week running, the Manics went for the kill early
in the game, pushing hard and creating plenty of chances...
Bracknell Manics went 1-0 up after a great header from Tony Hemley.
A good spell of pressure on the 20th minute saw Joel Curran put
a dangerous cross into the box, and Tony was at hand to head
the ball home making it 1-0.
Minutes later and the Manics thought they had the second goal
all wrapped up, unfortunately though Simon Blay's back-post header
was disallowed.
Manics went out to do more damage in the second half, and when
Paul Milner was brought down in the box, the referee awarded
a penalty. Gary Sarney stepped up to take and calmly converted
the goal to make it 2-0.
But right near the end, Manics conceded a sloppy goal, Robinson
decided to do a little bit too much on the ball, and was caught
out by Syngenta's striker who stole the ball from Robinson and
walked it into the net.
Another
good performance from the Manics this sunday, thanks to all the
fans who came to watch this weekend!
