Pierce: "I'll be back..."
It's been long awaited now, that Stephen Pierce is on his way back from injury, and looking for a 1st team slot in the Manics XI. Stephen's operation is on the 24th of November, and has now been on the waiting list for nearly two years.
Since the injury in 2001, Pierce has never competed in a full competitive game in 3 years commitment to the Manics cause, and is excited about his return to the game. The Cruciate Ligament in his knee is torn and his operation will involve 'keyhole surgery', where he will have two holes drilled into his knee; one for a camera, and the other two for operating tools.
Look out for pierce and his countdown for his return to the Manics!
