Friendly vs Royal Hunt - Result: Won 2-1
Bracknell Manics
took on last season's division 4 side, Royal Hunt FC this weekend,
and had a great win in their first pre-season friendly. Manic's
were missing Hemley, Fairs and O'Connell, but were still able
to kepp up their good form from last season to win the game.
Manics went two ahead in the first. The opener was scored on
the 30th minute by Robertson, with McDonald supplying the assist.
Then, just 5 minutes later Fenton took the second with a strike
outside the box. Just before the break Manics were ruled off
their third goal, when the Hunt's keeper was obstructed.
In the second, Manics made substitution after substitution, and
despite several good chances on goal, failed to put many more
away. Royal Hunt scored their consolation goal after some nice
passing play.
