Friendly vs Downshire Arms - Result: Won 9-4
Bracknell Manics gave some first team players rest this weekend, and said thanks to the players who had stood in all season by giving them a chance to prove themselves out on pitch. An understrength Downshire side would be the opposition, but BMFC lent Downshire two players for their use so the game could continue.
Bracknell Manics played excelent football in the first as they fired 7 past Downshire without reply. Manics opened up the goals by a well timed Steve Dennaford header in one of the quickest Manics goals in history. From the kick off, it took only 21 seconds for the Manics to take the lead. Both stand-in strikers; Steve Dennaford and Simon Blay earnt themselves a hatrick of goals, coupled with a Glenn Evans cross which was fumbled over the line by Downshire's keeper.
In the second half, Downshire transformed their side, whilst Bracknell Manics threw players into even more unpredicatble postions. Downshire put 4 goals past Robinson in the second, and only David Comper could net at the other end, the final score ending 9-4 to the Manics.
