Reserves Earn First 3 Points

Bracknell Manics Reserves took on GMAC RFC this weekend.

The game started off slowly but soon picked up as GMAC scored first, that seemed to wake the Manics up and started to play their football, and it wasn’t long before the Manics were level through Alan Matthias. The Manics then kept pressing forward as GMAC’s defence with held the onslaught.

GMAC started the second half a bit more promising and took the lead 5 minutes into the half to make it 2-1, once again the Manics calmed down and started to play their football with Lee Blackman making it 2-2 with 20 minutes to go.

Andy Impey made it 3-1 scoring directly from a corner, GMAC’s heads seemed to drop and with 5 minutes left on the clock Lee Blackman put the final nail in the coffin by netting his second to make the final result 4-2 to Manics Reserves.

The Manics Man of the Match went to Ben Westwood & the Referee's player of the match went to Lee Blackman.
