Wilson in Thumb Break Shocker

Bracknell Manics Reserves striker and crowd favourite, Christopher "The David" Wilson, has revealed he broke his thumb in Sunday's clash with Royal Oak Wanderers. After landing awkwardly, the leggy forward felt pain in his left hand but shrugged it off to help his side claim an impressive 6-2 victory.

However, hospital tests revealed that "The David" had in fact suffered an evulsion fracture of the thumb. At this early stage it is unclear whether Wilson will miss any Manics games, but the news will surely cause worry to PoinT fans up and down the country. Will he be able to play the guitar for the charity gig on the 4th February at the Legion???

  "Love life. Love The Manics."
