Sunday 16th September 2007 back to news section Tell someone about this news United Wanted It More Than UsA fairly contested match up between Wokingham United and Bracknell Manics tipped in the favour of United as the final score was 3-2. Manics kept running at the United defence but could not get the equaliser they felt was deserved after a hat full of missed opportunities during the match.

Blackman
and Gareth Jones netted for Manics
whilst Wokingham scored twice and converted a penalty was enough
for United for the 3 points. Talking point after the match was
the dubious non called off side decision on the United first
goal. The Manics Man of the Match went to Chris Hollis and Referee's Man of the Match went to Simon Blay. Thanks to the fans who came to watch the game!
