Sarg's Stunner Shocks FC Wokingham

FC Wokingham played host to Bracknell Manics, but neither team could have forseen the events that unfolded during this match. Bracknell Manics took a 2 goal lead through Matt Rain and a thundering long range strike from Kirk Hedges, only for FC Wokingham to lob the Manics keeper to pull a goal back. Manics extended their lead to 3-1 before the half as David Fenton netted for the visitors.

 

 

Into the 2nd half and FC Wokingham came out all guns blazing to turn the score around in this tug of war match as FC Wokingham netted to take a 4-3 lead for the home side. With this sudden resurgence, FC Wokingham may have thought the game was won, but Chris Adams and Lee Blackman stepped up to the plate and scored for Bracknell Manics to put the final score at 5-4 to the Manics. All this along with an acrobatic goal line clearance from Bradley Gibson and a disallowed goal for offside from Simon Blay making the game a very lively affair on what was a very dull, wet and windy day.
