James Blackman was
Player/Coach for the first few seasons with BMFC, sharing his
wealth of experience grass roots football with the club.
His tremendous power with his left foot, means that he is capable
of switching play with a 40 yard pass.
Jimmy possesses a left foot so clever that it could open a tin
of beans, but if he's to stamp his mark on the Manics scene he
will have to add extra steel to his game in the way of his fitness.
In his 2005 season, Blackman took up the role of Player/Manager
for the the Reserves side. James did a fantastic job and led his
team to victory against FC Priestwood to win the Division Four
title in his 2005-2006 season, playing a part in almost all games
on the pitch too.
In his 2006-2007 James left to play for Finch, but soon learned
the grass isn't always greener on the other side, by joining again
in the 2007-2008 as BMFC's Bracknell Manics A's Player Manager.
