Gareth Evans joined the Manics 1st team midway through the season for his first year in the 2005-2006 season. Evans became first choice right wing, and is capable of playing a number of other positions including centre back, centre midfield and even in goal. Gareth Evans was awarded 'Bracknell Manics FC, Most Improved Player 2005-2006' in his first season.

In his 2006-2007 season, Gareth Evans became first choice right winger for Bracknell Manics 1st Team with a firm commitment to training and delivering some quality performances out on pitch. Gareth Evans also won Bracknell Manics FC 1st Team 2006-2007 Goal of the Season.
