Joining the squad
in 2002 as a winger and centre forward Glenn showed startling
pace and trickery, and importantly bags full of confidence.
His presence in the Manic's helped BMFC march into the top three
teams of Division 2 in their Division 2 season, both scoring and
creating goals not to mention his tough tackling attitude on the
field.
Glenn left the squad due to personal reasons but then once again
committed to the team in the latter part of 2005 playing a part
in the clubs success for promotion to the Premiership.
In his 2005-2006 season, Evans was named the captain for the side,
and led his team to some historical victories over great opposing
sides. Evans was awarded 'Manics 2005-2006 Runners-up Managers
Player', 'Manics 2005-2006 Goal of the Season' with his strike
against Ascot Utd, and also picked up 'Manics 2005-2006 Pool Tourney
Champion' altogether summing up a great season with the 1st team.
